Another Dark Souls: Remastered network test will begin tomorrow, September 21, 2018, for Nintendo Switch owners, and ends on Sunday, September 23. The network test will run from 5:00-9:00 P.M. PT each day and can be downloaded onto your Nintendo Switch today.

The DARK SOULS: Remastered Network Test will take place in the Undead Parish with access to single player and multiplayer content. The full game will be available on October 19, 2018.

On Switch Dark Souls: Remastered will run at 1080p, 30 FPS docked, and 720p, 30 FPS undocked. It supports between one and six players online with dedicated servers, and will launch with an amiibo of Solaire of Astoria.

The Nintendo Switch Online service is required for this network test, and no save data will carry over to the final game. Dark Souls Remastered will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 19, 2018, following its launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on May 29, 2018. You can read our review of the original game in which we said, “If a game can make me learn from my mistakes and make me a better player over time, how can I not admire it as an utter achievement in a year of absolutely phenomenal games?”
