Last Friday, Treyarch revealed that zombies had “mysteriously disappeared” from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode. Now, Treyarch’s revealed that they’ve returned to the battle royale mode with a bit of a holiday twist, as they now appear with…a Santa hat on?
As far as I can tell, they don’t act any differently than they did before, with the ONLY difference being the aforementioned hats. Seems odd to hype up something so small with its own dedicated tweet, but it’s still a cool addition nonetheless. In addition to the hats, however, a new zombie spawn point has been added to the Farm area below Firing Range, so you’ll have an even greater chance to run into the undead now.
In addition to the new zombie’s news, the developer also revealed that starting this Friday, players will be able to take advantage of double XP in both Zombies and Multiplayer, as well as double Merits in Blackout.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
