Even though we have to wait another full week for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to release on consoles and PC, one aspect of the game has now become available today to help tide you over.
The full soundtrack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has now been released and is available to listen to on streaming services. The score is composed by Sarah Schachner, who previously did the soundtrack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in addition to aiding with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is Schachner’s second high-profile video game soundtrack of 2019 after she also did the composition for BioWare’s Anthem earlier in the year, too. And regardless of what you thought of Anthem, the music in it was actually pretty fantastic.
In other recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare news, Activision announced yesterday that this year’s game will no longer include loot crates. Instead, post-launch monetization plans will come in the form of a Battle Pass, much like other games such as Fortnite and Rocket League have popularized. The first Battle Pass for Modern Warfare doesn’t have a launch date yet, but it will drop before the end of the year.
If you would like to check out the Modern Warfare soundtrack, you can find it attached down below via Spotify. I’ve been listening to it a bit and it’s pretty great so far.
As for the game itself, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will land on PS4, Xbox One, and PC a week from today on October 25. Stay tuned around or after launch to read our full impressions on this franchise’s latest entry.
