Today Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe sent in a press release with a new batch of screenshots and artwork of its upcoming Souls-Like JRPG Code Vein.

The image showcase the home base that was also included in yesterday’s Famitsu article, and we get an official description directly from the publisher:

“This old remodeled chapel is actually a sort of fortress for the players, where they can meet various merchants and NPCs, including Davis, who is busy exploring the Depths, or the merchant Coco, who sells rare items. Murasame also sells weapons and improves its equipment thanks to the transformation. By embarking on some missions related to the various NPCs, players will also be able to increase their Affinity and thus have the opportunity to obtain even more powerful objects from them.”

Interestingly, differently from the screenshots showcased yesterday on Famitsu, today we get quite a few that are already localized in English, letting us catch a glimpse of the store interface, the customization menu, and more.

We get to see some of the NPCs that will be stationed at the chapel, including Io, Coco, Rin Murasame and Davis. On top of them, the images include potential enemies like the Queen and (probably) Gregorio Silva.

If you want to read more about them, remember to check out yesterday’s article.

You can check out the gallery below, also including a rather spiffy new piece of key art. If you want to see and learn more about the game, you can enjoy some gameplay from last night, also showcasing the home base, another recent batch of screenshotsmore images and information, and the latest trailer. You should also watch some gameplay recorded by yours truly at Bandai Namco’s headquarters in Tokyo, and read our interview with Producer Keita Iizuka and Director Hiroshi Yoshimura.

Code Vein will launch in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
