For a while now, purchasers of the Xbox One S Fortnite Eon Bundle have been complaining that the bundle had deceptive/misleading marketing to make it seem like it would include the Save the World mode when it actually didn’t. Now, the developer is trying to do right by the community, as it’s announced that anyone who purchased the aforementioned bundle will receive a voucher for the Save the World mode, free of charge.
According to post on the game’s official Reddit page, Epic will soon begin the process of identifying who has redeemed the Eon Bundle and granting them the Save the World mode sometime next week. In addition, if you redeemed the bundle and then proceeded to purchase the Save the World mode, then you’ll be granted 2,000 V-Bucks instead.
For context, the Eon Bundle said that it included “the full game and additional add-on content” which confused some people into thinking this included the Save the World mode.
In other Fortnite news, earlier today it was reported that the game has generated over $3 billion for Epic Games in 2018.
