Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer for its upcoming samurai action game Gintama Rumble.

The trailer is quite brief, following the same format we have seen before to introduce different arcs of the story, and has the same purpose. This time around it shows the Shogun Assassination Arc, that goes from episode 300 to episode 307 of the anime. It’s also considered one of the turning points of the anime.

If you’re unfamiliar with Gintama Rumble, it’s basically Bandai Namco’s version of the usual Musou-style, which we have seen in several One Piece games before. It features battles against hundreds of nameless enemies followed by occasional boss encounters.

You can enjoy it below.  If you want to see more, you can watch the first gameplay that we saw yesterday at Jump Festa, an extensive trailer released recently showcasing a look at all the features of the game, a commercial focusing on the Courtesan of a Nation Arc, another trailer focusing on the Torny Arcone more trailer, and the latest batch of 4K screenshots,

Gintama Rumble will launch in both Japan and Asia on January 18th, and the Asian version will include English subtitles, which means that we’ll be able to import and enjoy the game even if we don’t speak any Japanese, which I’ll happily take.

The Japanese version will come for PS4 and PS Vita, while the Asian release will release exclusively for PS4.
