Today Capcom released a brand new video of its upcoming mainline game of the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter World.

We get to see the first look at the deep character creation that really looks good, but that’s just the beginning, since player can also customize their palico partners on top of their hunters.

After that we see the intro of the game, and the first encounter with an absolutely massive monster named Zora Maguros.

Interestingly, the video continues with an overview of the story, the main NPCs and the village of Astella, which will serve as a home base.

After that we get to see some hunting gameplay, starting with fishing and then moving on to bigger game. Interestingly, we see some flying and exploration of the Wildspire Waste area. Thanks to the seamless nature of the game, you can simply walk into this new zone from the Ancient Forest.

I don’t know about you, but the game looks spectacular to me. You can check out the video below, and if you want to see more, you can watch the latest trailer, ther rather spectacular PS4 Pro “Rathalos Edition,” and the dedicated panel from San Diego Comic Con.

The game will launch worldwide on January 26th, for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
