During a stage event hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment at Taipei Gane Show in Taiwan, Monster Hunter World Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto made a special announcement.

The game will receive crossover content from Street Fighter V.  To be more precise, players will be able to transform their characters in Ryu and Sakura, pretty much like they do with the looks of Aloy from Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn.

Ryu will be released in Ferbruary, while Sakura will launch sometime down the line. According to Tsujimoto-san, more information about this crossover will come at a later date.

You can check out some images on the slide that was showcased during the event just below. Unfortunately, only Ryu is displayed for now.

Just a few days ago, we learn that Street Fighter V will get Monster Hunter World costumes, so apparently, the crossover goes both ways.
