Two days ago, King Art Games opened the previously-announced Kickstarter campaign for its RTS Iron Harvest, and apparently the call to arms was successful.

Supported by a solid build to show and a charming setting, the project already passed its $450,000 goal, and is now sitting comfortably on $472,363, with thirty days to go on the clock.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Iron Harvest is set in the alternate-history post-WWI world illustrated by Polish artist Jakub Różalski, in which nations have developed mechanized walkers that are used as frontline armored units alongside traditional infantry.

Three fictional factions will be included, the Polania Republic, the Rusviet, and the Saxony Empire, and all three will be playable in their own campaign within an overarching story told from different perspectives (pretty much like in the original Starcraft).

It’s likely that this promise of meaty campaign content may have also pushed backers to flock to the campaign, since we live in an era in which single player is often barebones in favor of multiplayer.

On the other hand, Iron Harvest has multiplayer among its stretch goals, specificallt at $1,000,000, while $100,000 on top of that will also net us a co-op campaign.

You can check out the Kickstarter campaign below, and if you want to back the game, you can do so at the official page of the campaign.

The game is in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
