Earlier this month, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be coming to PC. Even though the original Red Dead Redemption never came to PC, this was a long-awaited announcement for many as Grand Theft Auto V is insanely popular on PC and because the game’s beauty can be pushed even further on PC. A new trailer for the port that was released by Rockstar today gives us a taste of that as you can watch it at 4K and 60FPS.
As Rockstar has previously detailed, the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 features its fair share of improvements outside of framerate and resolution. On the technical side of things, the draw distance will be increased, texture quality has been raised, global illumination and ambient occlusion have been improved for better lighting, and the port will have HDR support. Personally, the most enticing thing about this port for me is the new single-player content. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC features three new bounty hunter missions, two new Del Lobos gang hideouts, two new treasure maps, more collectible trinkets, and a new mission titled To the Ends of the Earth.
You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, though it will finally be launching for PC on November 5 and Google Stadia on November 19.
