I know. I know. The headline is a terrible pun… or maybe it’s a nightmarish one… Ok. I’ll stop while I’m ahead.

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released the latest trailer of its upcoming fighting game SoulCalibur VI, and it’s all about classic villain Nightmare.

Like in other character-dedicated trailers, we get to see gameplay and commentary from Producer Motohiro Okubo, who explains that he’s very happy about how Nightmare turned out in game, and especially his Critical Edge has been created with a great amount of care.

Personally, I’m more of a Siegfried dude, but Nightmare definitely looks promising (and Siegfried has not been revealed yet anyway).

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can check out the previous trailer of the same series about Mitsurugi, two trailers revealing Ivy and Zasalamel, and a batch of screenshots showing them in action.

SoulCalibur VI will hit the shelves worldwide in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
