Developers Fireproof Studios and Team17 Digital announce that The Room is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. It has been previously released and thoroughly enjoyed on iOS, Android and PC, but now The Room has been lovingly re-built and remastered for the Switch.

If you haven’t heard of The Room before then you’re in for a treat. What you’ll find with this game is a puzzler/mystery in which an obscure invitation takes you to the attic of a deserted house. In the room, you discover a cast iron safe with odd carvings and a note from your distant companion. It tells you of something ancient concealed in the iron chamber but firstly you will need to find a way in.

Fireproof Studios have rebuilt The Room specifically for Nintendo Switch to take advantage of both the touch screen and the Joy-Con controllers. You can either use the touch screen to solve puzzles or the Joy-Cons, the choice is yours to make.

The Room for Nintendo Switch will launch on October 18th priced at $9.99/£6.99/€8.99.
