Today, Titan Comics and Rare have announced that a comic series based on the Xbox One console exclusive Sea of Thieves will be on store shelves in March 2018. Two covers — Cover A is illustrated by Rhoald Marcellius and Cover B features the game’s cover art — and a first look at the book’s interior art have been revealed.

Written by Jeremy Whitley (Princeless, Thor Vs. Hulk) and illustrated by Rhoald Marcellius (The Incredible Hulks, Warren Ellis’ Supergod), the Sea of Thieves comic series will follow two pirate crews as they race to find an ancient treasure. Other than the rivalry each party possesses, they will have to overcome numerous obstacles including devious traps and the undead.

Those who are interested in Titan Comics’ Sea of Thieves will be able to order it from Diamond’s upcoming January Previews catalog. Three covers will be available including the two aforementioned above as well as one by Jose Carlos.

In other Sea of Thieves news, it was announced the upcoming Xbox One and PC pirate adventure game will launch on March 20th alongside a new trailer.
